Focus FS Attends 2022 International Mines Rescue Competition

We packed our bags and headed to West Virginia last week for the 2022 International Mines Rescue Competition.
Twenty-two teams representing eight nations put their mine rescue knowledge, skills, and abilities to the test at the event, which was held from Sept. 11-16.
Focus FS and Dräger hosted a joint booth, where interested participants received information about our products – including the Focus FS Emergency Response Solution and the Dräger BG ProAir.
“We’re thrilled that we had the opportunity to speak with mine rescue teams from all over the world,” said Glenys Strang, Focus FS Customer Success Manager.
“They’re all very professional and dedicated to saving lives, so it was great sharing with them how Focus FS and Dräger are at the forefront of the next generation of mine rescue technology.”

High Angle Rope Rescue:

Theory Exam (& Technician?):

Mine Rescue Skills Challenge:

“Congratulations to the winners and everyone who participated in the competition,” said Strang. “We’re looking forward to seeing everyone again at IMRC 2024 in Colombia.”
